Tru Time In Paradise
2006 black tovero filly
Sire: A Tru Rolex
Dam: Dakota Double Dice
($4500)
**DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS**

For anyone that does not know of A Tru Rolex, here's a brief summary. Ris Key Business' son, Strait from Texas,
owned the rights to be called the all time leading open performance point earner in APHA history for many years. Strait
died last year. Since then he has been passed in points by A Tru Rolex. Now Rolex is the all time leading open
performance point earner in APHA history. Similar disciplines for both stallions......heading, heeling, steer stopping,
and working cow horse.
A Tru Rolex has over 3,300 performance points with 3 Reserve World titles and is a 4x Congress
Champion. A Tru Rolex is a 2004 2x APHA Reserve World Champion; Senior Amateur Heading & Senior Open Heeling and
the 2000 APHA Reserve World Champion-Junior Amateur Heeling. He has 9 Superiors and #1 Honor Roll in 5 events.
I am looking forward to crossing Ris Key on this filly next summer. While I'd like to wait another year or two
- Ris Key is already 24 years old. If I wait too long, it might just be too late!
Great riding little girl. Very responsive and willing to learn. This one needs to be shown.
Or bred. Or something... ;-0
May, 2009 Bred...and confirmed in foal to This Cat Flys. Guaranteed black
tobiano/tovero gson/gdtr of High Brow Cat and A Tru Rolex in the spring!!
Diaman H Zippa Zandra (839640)
2005 red dun (overo) filly
Dam: Zippa Skip Zena
Sire: A Breeze of Class

This keen headed, big bodied girl is the prettiest color of red dun and
will mature near her dam's height of 15/15.1 hands. She's a smooth and easy loper in the pasture - great athletic ability.
She does carry the overo gene, and a couple of her spots could well qualify her for regular papers in the future. As
a broodmare she carries a double advantage of being able to throw TWO kinds of 'color'. She'll produce overo foals AND
dun/red dun/grulla babies. Can't go wrong there. She's straight, stout and very correct. We already have one of
her full sisters in the broodmare band, or she'd be higher priced. Just take a look at DH Zippa Zondra (APHA broodmares
page) if you want to see how nicely this little girl should mature. She's turned
into one of our best broodmares. No doubt this girl could do the same for your herd.
30 days ride, just finished November 8, turned back out to pasture for the winter. Mini-clips of last
ride available through email. Natural, low head set and easy going gaits.
Excellent WP prospect.
**UPDATE another 30 days ride started June, 2008

Diaman H Jessies Risk (839829)
2005 bay tobiano filly
Dam: Jessie Jill (AQHA)
Sire: Ris Key Business

Jessie is our last (2005) spotted filly from Ris Key left to sell. This filly looks
to mature in the 14.3 hand range. She really has great conformation and a captivating look about her.
With her bold personality, she should make an excellent show horse. She took the saddle really well this past fall (as
all the yearlings did......not really a 'bucker' in the bunch). She's becoming very quiet and friendly.
30 days arena riding (October), then spent the month of November going down the road and
on the trails. Tackled a 20 mile trail ride with all new horses on her first trip off the farm. NO PROBLEMS. Put
out to pasture for the winter in December.
**UPDATE** another 30 days on this filly started June, 2008. Very talented, cooperative young mare.
Someone could really make something out of this one!!
($4000 - terms to show home)
May, 2009. Bred to This Cat Flys
Diaman H Solanos Risk
2004 dun tobiano filly
Dam: Docs Freckled Solano
Sire: A Breeze of Class

How do you feel about a young filly that is as sweet as she is good looking? This is a very friendly, people oriented
young mare. We expect her to mature between 14.3 and 15 hands. She has outstanding color and markings and her
pedigree is filled with cutters and reiners. Her sire is our grullo tobiano son of Ris Key Business,
her dam is a daughter of Funny Freddie (by Docs Solano) out of a daughter of Freckles Solis, NRHA lifetime earning
of over $100,000 (by Colonel Freckles) That puts Ris Key Business, Doc Bar, Poco Tivio, Colonel Freckles, and
Cutter Bill in her (close up) pedigree.
We will start this filly under saddle during the winter of 2006. **11/25/06**This mare and her 1/2 sister below have
just completed 30 days ride (that's $1000 worth of training) and are both VERY quiet and gentle. Walk, trot, lope, great
'whoa' and little or no spook in either one. Just about anyone can ride them. This mare, in particular, has taken
to riding like few horses do. She wants to please and can really get down when she stops and turns and/or pivots.
Super potential with this filly. Super sorrel overo colt from her in 2008 (sire is Ris Key). Will not be rebred,
but tuned up and ready for YOU to ride in 2009.

Diaman H Dry Riskydoc
2004 dun tobiano filly
Dam: R Hollywood Star (by APHA Superior reiner Roulettes Hit Man)
Sire: A Breeze of Class

This young filly has matured very early, exhibiting a huge hip and chest and is already 14.2 at age 2.
I expect her to mature in the 15 hand range. 2/07/07 - I'd say she's right at 15 hands now. Her sire is also the
grullo tobiano son of Ris Key Business and her dam is a daughter of Roulettes Hit Man - APHA
Champion, World Champion and world reknown sire. That puts some pretty awesome horses in her pedigree as well:
Ris Key Business, Roulettes Hit Man, Far Ute Roulette (APHA Champion), Jackie Bee, Dry Gulch, Dry Doc, Hollywood Jac 86....
Both of these fillies are super sweet and super gentle. **11/25/06** They both have just completed 30 days
ride (that's $1000 worth of training) and are both VERY quiet and gentle. Walk, trot, lope, great 'whoa' and little
or no spook in either one. Just about anyone can ride them. This one's a bit more laid back (ok...she's lazy) than her
1/2 sister above. She'd just as soon plod along rather than risk using too much energy. We're actually using this one
as a lesson horse now, she's that quiet and cooperative. Figure she has an additional 30 days of riding on her by now.
Rode her a few more times March, 2008 (heavy in foal) VERY quiet and easy to ride. Will not be rebred, but used and/or
sold as a riding horse.

Diaman H RisKey Tivio
2003 dun tobiano filly
Sire: A Breeze of Class (by RisKey Business)
Dam: Poco Cajun Catbird (gdtr of Poco Tivio)

Very solid and correct filly. While this filly was bred and born here, we did sell her as a weanling. Her
owners are getting out of breeding APHA (lost their APHA stallion), so we traded them (Jan, 2006) back for her. Just
look at her outstanding reining/'cow' pedigree. You'll find the best of APHA and AQHA in this young mare. Her sire is
our grulla toby son of Ris Key Business and her dam is an own daughter of the great cutting horse Tabasco Tivio (by Poco Tivio).
This filly has a very cute head with a massive hip and chest. She's very quiet and gentle and easy to be around.
Well mannered on the ground. No trouble with shots, worming, trimming, etc. Current on all cares. She's
had a ton of ground work/round pen work done and fall, 2005 she also had a half dozen good long rides outside (in a bosal).
It's up to you to decide if you want to ride her or breed her.....or both! Confirmed in foal to Ris Key Business for
2009.

Diaman H QT N Riskey
2003 dun homozygous tobiano filly
Dam: QTs Bar Lena (by QT Poco Streke)
Sire: A Breeze of Class (by Ris Key Business)

This cute filly has been tested homozygous for the tobiano gene. Her dam is a 15.1 bay toby daughter of the reining
great - QT Poco Streke, and her sire is a 14.3 grulla toby son of the world reknown APHA legend, multiple world champion,
multiple world champion sire - Ris Key Business. This filly is easy to handle, but probably the most shy of what
we have left of our 2003 foal crop, as you need to approach her a bit more slowly in the open pasture. She doesn't seem
to be spooky and she took recent saddling and round pen work with no fuss. We'll be riding her this winter, and if she's
still here in the spring, we'll probably also use her as a broodmare.

Diaman H A Dun Risk
2003 dun breeding stock filly
Dam: Ms Fancy Freckles (gdtr Colonel Freckles/Bills Rock)
Sire: A Breeze of Class

This is one beautiful dun filly. She is so sweet and so friendly. Her dam is a massive gdtr of Colonel
Freckles, and it looks as though this filly will mature with the same type of body. Take a peek at Ms Fancy Freckles
on the APHA broodmares page to get an idea of how this filly will look in a couple of years. This little girl has been ridden
about 45 days now. Most of it in the arena, as well as several rides down the road last summer. (2005)
She is very, very quiet. She has incredible potential as a rope horse, team penner, etc. She can easily be registered
in the buckskin/dun registries, where she could take you to the 'head of the class'. Ready to continue with training,
or will be moved into the broodmare band in the spring. NICE horse!! She's
very quiet, very willing. No spook. Only problem we're having is that (in the arena) you about break your
legs kicking before you'll get her to lope. Might have to think about spurs..... However, you can get
her to lope if she's riding outside.
My husband will probably be taking this one off the 'cheap' list. He just
sold his riding gelding and is looking for a replacement. Mike is a 'walk-trot' kind of rider that loves a
good looking horse, and needs one that's quiet and capable of hauling a heavy rider - and she's definitely heavy
boned enough to haul him around!!

son of Ris Key Business and her dam is a 15.1 hand daughter of AQHA Docs Malbec (superior reiner, sire of Doc O Mos,
etc, ---- and own son of Doc Bar out of a daughter of an AQHA champion daughter of Poco Tivio) She has outstanding potential

Strait Miss McCue
2002 black tobiano mare
Dam: Hunter McCue (by King Stormy McCue/Kingfisher McCue out of a daughter of Watch Joe Jet)
Sire: Strait From Texas (by Ris Key Business)

The APHA world is greatly saddened by the loss of this mare's world famous sire: Strait from Texas. The
reining/cutting industry has truely lost a great champion. This is a very nicely mannered, nicely built daughter of
the all time leading performance point earning stallion, Strait From Texas. Good muscling, pretty head and ear, straight,
sound and correct. Photos were taken winter, 2005 and winter, 2006. Much cuter in person, and really has
a sweet personality. Started under saddle, but since she was destined to be a broodmare for the new
owners, we only had put on a couple of rides. Because of that, she really doesn't know much as a riding horse,
but she is very willing and easy to get along with. Will be bred to Ris Key Business in 2009.

athletic - NRHA potential.

Diaman H Musical Risk
2002 blue roan tobiano filly
Dam: Skips Blue Music
Sire: A Breeze of Class

This is one of the nicest, most unique, looking
fillies we've raised. She stands a good 15.1, has an extremely massive body and baby doll head - the bonus is her striking blue
roan color. She could be the last foal out of one of our best, but oldest, mares. She really
was a pain to start riding, so we gave up on that after a couple of weeks. She has, however, turned into a very
sweet mare and is (now) great to handle. I guess she's just about everything a person could want in a broodmare...she does
need a longer neck - but her overall 'look' is captivating.
She was confirmed in foal for 2009, bred
to Ris Key Business.

Diaman H Hotshot Risk
2002 grulla filly
Dam: RSM Nightngail (by Hotshot Hancock)
Sire: A Breeze of Class

This mare is what is commonly referred to as a 'soggy' mare. ie - She has massive bone w/short cannons,
and a huge hip and chest. Her dam is a 15.2 black daughter of Hotshot Hancock, sire is a grullo toby son of Ris Key
Business. Broodmare potential is unlimited. She's registered as a dun - but she's a grulla.
Given the fact that daddy is a grullo and momma is very black, producing a dun would be impossible. APHA sometimes
get confused. While she's not usually one that comes looking for attention, she's not going to run
from you and you can halter her in the pasture if you approach her nice and easy. Once she's caught, you'll
find she's calm and quiet and very willing to please. This mare stands around 15 hands.

2001 sorrel overo filly
Dam: Noble Leona (Mr Norfleet and Tiger Leo bred) Sire: A Breeze of Class

"Jaw" is one sweet, well developed filly. She had 90 days ride (spring, 2003).
Most of the riding was in the arena (western pleasure), however, she was also taken on a half dozen trail rides and did nicely
there as well. She has an excellent disposition and willingness to learn. Jaw has great potential as either a
reiner, working cow horse, or as a wp prospect. She stands a good 15 hands. October,
2006. Just rode her for the past week after a few years off. She's quiet -and lazy - and so could use
a few more lessons......but still a very nice, safe, riding horse.
January, 2009. Didn't breed her for 2009, in order to ride her again. 2 1/2

This is another great young filly that was bred and born here. Her dam is a foundation bred blue roan

this filly got to be the size she is, as she's pushing 16 hands.....at least 2 inches taller than her dam and a good hand
taller than her sire. She's a gorgeous mare with a sweet personality. She's has several months of reining training,

Personality that can not be beat, and she's been blessed with her daddy's grulla coloring. January,

a six time Pinto Horse Association National Champion with ROM’s in Open and Amateur Reining and Open Cowhorse.
Also an NRHA and TRHA Champion and AHSA Stockseat Champion) Fancy’s dam was an own daughter of Delta Flyer (NCHA $260,213, 1986 NCHA Open Super Stakes Champ). She is a very pretty bay tobiano mare with lovely movement and
consistently produces nice foals with easy going friendly personalities. We bought her from the Good Hope Ranch in Center,
Texas is 2005. Smokes Remedy filly by her side. For more info on mare, filly, sire.......and photos:

Futurity winner and money earner. Not a real big mare, but she's at least 14.1 and very nicely built. Sweet
mare. No obvious signs of being 'off', but she's no longer physically capable of showing. She is broodmare sound. In
foal to NCHA money earner/APHA congress reserve champion - This Cat Flys - SON of High Brow Cat o/o daughter of Delta Flyer.
Very special mare that is going to produce very special babies......

This is one solid chunk with heavy dun factor markings. Tiger stripes everywhere! She
rides well - 30 days fall/2000. Quiet and gentle. Needs shoes on front if you ride her on gravel roads. Healthy and sound,
no bad habits. Can be double registered!! Her sire is an

good 14.3. Lost her 2009 foal early in the pregnancy.... but she is being

CC Bar Cheyenne
1997 homozygous black, homozygous tobiano mare
Sire: Bar B Paint
Dam: Little Streke (maternal sister to QT Poco Streke)

DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS
This is one awesome looking mare. I love her pretty head, huge hip
and chest, solid bones and incredible markings!! Okay, the fact that her pedigree is impressive doesn't hurt her as
a future broodmare either. This Little Streke is a maternal SISTER to QT Poco Streke!
Sires side is even better!
BAR B PAINT (APHA BLK T) Sire
of Champion and Reserve Champion NRHA LO Reining offspring, APHA ROM Reining offspring. Sire of Grand and Reserve Champion Halter offspring. Sire of Dressage, HUS, WP, Trail
Offspring. Grandsire of Maria Mist 2003 NRHA Limited Non Pro World Champion and Alito Strom
Cheyenne has been tested (UC Davis)
to be double homozygous, stands a good 15.1 and is so nice to be around.
Not sure what else you could want in a broodmare? It's been awhile since she's been ridden, but we were told she was
well broke. She'll not be working that hard here since she's definitely being added to 'broodmare only' status for as
long as she'll continue producing foals. Her 2008 colt is a good one!!
Rebred to Ris Key in May, 2009.

A Movin Music Toy
1994 black tovero (double homozygous)
Sire: Movin to the Music
Dam: Gentlemans Toy (by I'll do)

DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS DAUGHTER OF MOVIN TO THE MUSIC
This mare (Super Spot.....we already have a 'Spot') is the whole package as a broodmare.
Not only is she homozygous for the tobiano gene, she's homozygous for the black gene as well. She stands at least 15.3
with outstanding conformation. She's sweet, she's gentle and she's very easy to handle. We're going a little
off our beaten (cow)path with this pedigree, but take a look - can you blame us? Her sire is the world reknown
Movin to the Music. 16.1 black tobiano stallion - Second in The Nation
in OCAP Dressage with 90 points. Wkg points, certificate of Rec and Accomplishment. Superior Performance Sire
in Heading, Heeling and Steer Stopping. ROM Sire, points in Western Pleasure, Dressage, Jumping and Equitation. Sire
of 10 perfs including WINDY NEVADA NIGHT (231 Wkg pts); DARE TO DREAMINCOLOR (27 OCAP Wkg pts); SPILT PERFUME (12 Wkg, 8 OCAP
Wkg, 38 YWkg pts) etc
Super Spot's dam is a gdtr of point earning performers - Scootin Spook
and Dixies War Drum. This mare has no problems walking the miles our mares must travel daily,
but does have an enlarged knee. She's friendly and always looking for some loving, but when she sees that halter, it's
sure a different story! Not currently in foal, but Will be rebred to Ris Key Business in 2009.

Jets Golden Jackpot*
1994 palomino mare Sire: Kenos
Jackpot/APHA Champion (by Far Ute Keno/APHA Champion and Superior All Around) Dam: Easy Miss Blair -QH- (by Easy Ignition/si
104 by Easy Jet/si 100)

Baby Doll is one of our better producing mares. Her foals are always big bodied and
keen headed, with tremendous athletic ability. So far no complaints on color, either. We've gotten a black overo, a
dun/buckskin tobiano, a palomino overo, and two smutty buckskin tobianos from her. Her sire is APHA Champ
- Kenos Jackpot, APHA Superior Halter
Champion, ROM Western Pleasure, Halter Reserve Champion, Heading National Champion, and Heeling Reserve Champion and 90 Get
of Sire-TPHC as is his sire Far Ute Keno - who
also has ROMs in WP, HUS, hunter hack, trail, heading, heeling, cutting, reining, working cow horse. Superiors in halter,
WP, hunter hack, HUS.. Baby Doll's dam is an AQHA own daughter of Easy Ignition (si 104) by Easy Jet (si 100) by Jet Deck (si 100). We rode Baby
Doll as a 3 year old, you can feel the big "Jet" engine. She does ride quite well, but hang on if you ask her for
speed..... She's healthy, and has no bad habits. This gorgeous golden doll stands about 14.3 and has just
been confirmed IN FOAL to Ris Key Business for a 2009 foal.
Update 8/10/2009. For the past couple of years, this mare has
been having some slight problems with one knee. It comes and goes, but hasn't slowed her down much. However, spring
of 2009 the other knee began to have some problems. While her first knee problems became only slightly worse over the
period of a couple of years, this other knee deteriorated very, very rapidly. Baby Doll was laying down constantly....and
could no longer get up without help towards the end of the summer. It was obvious that even with pain medications she
was quite uncomfortable. Once her filly was 3 months old we made the very tough decision that this mare had simply endured
enough pain. We put her down 8/10/2009....

Cher McBear
1991 black tobiano mare
Sire: Little Black Bear
Dam: Di Jazz Bar (AQHA)
Own daughter of Little Black Bear, producer of point earners in reining (youth reining
champion) and heading/heeling. Paternal brother to QT Poco Streke. This mare has fantastic, heavy bone and a very
solid body with a cute head and ear. She stands close to 14.3 and has a pleasant personality. Sound
with no bad habits. You can walk up to her in the pasture and mess with her......but if she sees a lead rope and/or
halter, she can become difficult to catch (unless you have grain) She's recently purchased from the only home she's
ever had. We didn't ask, but I doubt she's ever been ridden.
