Most of these broodmares are currently in foal, either to Ris Key Business or to A Breeze of Class.   A number of these mares ride to varying degrees, as noted in the individual bios. Extended pedigrees are available. If you see something you like, or want information on a past, present or future foal, just let me know.  Any offspring we still have will be listed below that mare's bio.  You can then access their info and photos on other pages - according to year of birth.

Most of our broodmares come with a 'live foal guarantee' as well as a 1/2 priced breeding to the stallion of your choice.....for the breeding season immediately after purchase.

Depending on time of year, we do sell 3-in-1 and 2-in-1 combinations. Also, if you are looking for more than one broodmare/riding horse we are always willing to discuss 'package deals'.

If you see something you like, but don't have the cash up front - payment plans are an option, and a  20% - 25% deposit will hold a horse.  ASK for details.

In case you don't pick up on the fact that these mares are listed in order of age - figured I'd just as well mention that right now in case age is a factor in your search.

Any horse listed as **sale pending** means I currently have a deposit in hand and/or payments are being made.  As we all know, things don't always turn out as anticipated, so if you have an interest in one of these horses please contact me if you want to be kept informed of it's sale status.

DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS
Quiet, well mannered, blue eyed daughter of Strait Gunsmokensugar, 2005 World Show - earned the Oscar Crigler Cattle Award and was named the High-Point Western Horse and All-Around Horse. The stallion was exhibited by J.D. Yates of Pueblo, Colorado, and Robbie Boyce of Jacksboro, Texas. Strait Gunsmokensugar was the Reserve World Champion in Senior Tie-Down Roping and Senior Working Cow Horse. He also had two Top 10 finishes at the show.  Strait from Texas was an 8 time world champion, highest open performance point stallion in the history of the APHA, first and only stallion to earn more than 2000 plus open performance points.  And then there's his sire - Ris Key Business himself with his miles and miles of accomplishments listed on our home page.
Three generations on the sire's side of incredible athletes.  NOW check out the dam's side.  Dam is an own daughter of Smart Like Lena - NCHA earner of over $19,000.  ........Two 2006 breedings sold on the Western Bloodstock sale for $17,000.
We are not making any attempt to ride this one.  Even though she is about the quickest, most athetic mare you'll ever find and would excel in the cutting pen, we have a more pressing use for her as a broodmare. Once we get some Ris Key babies from her, we'll concentrate on showing them.
This filly has tested HOMOZYGOUS FOR TOBIANO AND BLACK.  She will be bred to Ris Key in the spring of  2007.  Price will increase accordingly.

Diaman H Solanos Risk
2004 dun tobiano filly
Dam: Docs Freckled Solano
Sire: A Breeze of Class
$3000

dhsalrisk06.jpg

dhsalsrisk06.jpg

How do you feel about a young filly that is as sweet as she is good looking?  This is a very friendly, people oriented young mare.  We expect her to mature between 14.3 and 15 hands.  She has outstanding color and markings and her pedigree is filled with cutters and reiners.  Her sire is our grullo tobiano son of Ris Key Business, her dam is a daughter of Funny Freddie (by Docs Solano) out of a daughter of Freckles Solis, NRHA lifetime earning of over $100,000 (by Colonel Freckles)  That puts Ris Key Business, Doc Bar, Poco Tivio, Colonel Freckles, and Cutter Bill in her (close up) pedigree.
We will start this filly under saddle during the winter of 2006.  **11/25/06**This mare and her 1/2 sister below have just completed 30 days ride (that's $1000 worth of training) and are both VERY quiet and gentle.  Walk, trot, lope, great 'whoa' and little or no spook in either one. Just about anyone can ride them.  This mare, in particular, has taken to riding like few horses do.  She wants to please and can really get down when she stops and turns and/or pivots. Super potential with this filly. If these two sisters are here in the spring, we'll think about breeding them.....

Diaman H Dry Riskydoc
2004 dun tobiano filly
Dam: R Hollywood Star (by APHA Superior reiner Roulettes Hit Man)
Sire: A Breeze of Class

drydoc906.jpg

This young filly has matured very early, exhibiting a huge hip and chest and is already 14.2 at age 2.  I expect her to mature in the 15 hand range.  2/07/07 - I'd say she's right at 15 hands now.  Her sire is also the grullo tobiano son of Ris Key Business and her dam is a daughter of  Roulettes Hit Man - APHA Champion, World Champion and world reknown sire.  That puts some pretty awesome horses in her pedigree as well:  Ris Key Business, Roulettes Hit Man, Far Ute Roulette (APHA Champion), Jackie Bee, Dry Gulch, Dry Doc, Hollywood Jac 86....
Both of these fillies are super sweet and super gentle.   **11/25/06** They both have just completed 30 days ride (that's $1000 worth of training) and are both VERY quiet and gentle.  Walk, trot, lope, great 'whoa' and little or no spook in either one. Just about anyone can ride them. This one's a bit more laid back (ok...she's lazy) than her 1/2 sister above.  She'd just as soon plod along rather than risk using too much energy. We're actually using this one as a lesson horse now, she's that quiet.  Figure she has an additinal 30 days of riding on her by now.  Rode her a few more times March, 2008 (heavy in foal) VERY quiet and easy to ride.

Summers Breeze
2003 black tobiano mare
Sire: Super Bee Tuff
Dam: Summer Sea Breeze

blackieright.jpg

blackieleft.jpg

This is a big, kind mare.  She's very quiet and gentle and will be started under saddle immediately.  (April 2008) She stands a good 15.1.....maybe 15.2 with a lot of body bulk and the straighest legs I've ever seen on a horse - front and back.
She has all the 'spots and dots' you'd expect on a homozygous tobiano, however she's never been tested for tobiano or black.  We will be doing that immediately as well.  Until tested, and until we get more than 30 days ride on her, she is priced very reasonably at
$2000 (includes first 30 days ride)

Diaman H RisKey Tivio
2003 dun tobiano filly
Sire: A Breeze of Class (by RisKey Business)
Dam: Poco Cajun Catbird (gdtr of Poco Tivio)

riskeytivio1.jpg

tiviomay.jpg

Very solid and correct filly.   While this filly was bred and born here, we did sell her as a weanling.  Her owners are getting out of breeding APHA (lost their APHA stallion), so we traded them (Jan, 2006) back for her.  Just look at her outstanding reining/'cow' pedigree.  You'll find the best of APHA and AQHA in this young mare. Her sire is our grulla toby son of Ris Key Business and her dam is an own daughter of the great cutting horse Tabasco Tivio (by Poco Tivio).  This filly stands between 14.2 and 14.3 and has a very cute head with a massive hip and chest.  She's very quiet and gentle and easy to be around.  Well mannered on the ground.  No trouble with shots, worming, trimming, etc.  Current on all cares.  She's had a ton of ground work/round pen work done and fall, 2005 she also had a half dozen good long rides outside (in a bosal).  It's up to you to decide if you want to ride her or breed her.....or both!

Diaman H QT N Riskey
2003 dun homozygous tobiano filly
Dam: QTs Bar Lena (by QT Poco Streke)
Sire: A Breeze of Class (by Ris Key Business)

qtnriskeysept06.jpg

This cute filly has been tested homozygous for the tobiano gene.  Her dam is a 15.1 bay toby daughter of the reining great - QT Poco Streke, and her sire is a 14.3 grulla toby son of the world reknown APHA legend, multiple world champion, multiple world champion sire - Ris Key Business.  This filly is easy to handle, but probably the most shy of what we have left of our 2003 foal crop, as you need to approach her a bit more slowly in the open pasture.  She doesn't seem to be spooky and she took recent saddling and round pen work with no fuss.  We'll be riding her this winter, and if she's still here in the spring, we'll probably also use her as a broodmare.

2003 buckskin/dun tobiano filly
riskeykenort.jpg
Dam: Jets Goldn Jackpot..................... Sire: A Breeze of Class

rkeno06.jpg

I LOVE the color and markings on this sweet young mare.  She has outstanding conformation and a real working horse pedigree.  Her dam stands close to 15 hands, her sire a bit under that.  We have a full sister of her, she stands at least an inch taller than her dam. Hmmmm.  Since her dam's sire was not only a superior reiner, but did well at halter (and produced a number of halter greats), I'd assume that height comes from that part of the pedigree.    She also did well with her few lessons under saddle.   UPDATE: 1/24/06.  30 days ride on this filly and not a single buck out of this one.  Walk, trot, canter both directions, with a great 'whoa'.  Incredible soft jog and slow lope.  All arena work so far.  Another 30 days ride this past winter (2006/2007) and she didn't forget a thing!!  Great mare!

Diaman H A Dun Risk
2003 dun breeding stock filly
Dam: Ms Fancy Freckles (gdtr Colonel Freckles/Bills Rock)
Sire: A Breeze of Class

dhadunrisk.jpg

This is one beautiful dun  filly.  She is so sweet and so friendly.  Her dam is a massive gdtr of Colonel Freckles, and it looks as though this filly will mature with the same type of body.  Take a peek at Ms Fancy Freckles on the APHA broodmares page to get an idea of how this filly will look in a couple of years. This little girl has been ridden about 45 days now.  Most of it in the arena, as well as several rides down the road last summer.  (2005)   She is very, very quiet. She has incredible potential as a rope horse, team penner, etc.  She can easily be registered in the buckskin/dun registries, where she could take you to the 'head of the class'.  Ready to continue with training, or will be moved into the broodmare band in the spring.
/February, 2008......Did not get this one bred (2 years in a row now!!), so she's currently in training.  NICE horse!!  She's very quiet, very willing.  No spook.  Only problem we're having is that (in the arena) you about break your legs kicking before you'll get her to lope.  Might have to think about spurs.....   However, you can get her to lope if she's riding outside.
My husband will probably be taking this one off the 'cheap' list.  He just sold his riding gelding and is looking for a replacement.  Mike is a 'walk-trot' kind of rider that loves a good looking horse, and needs one that's quiet and capable of hauling a heavy rider - and she's definitely big boned enough to haul him around!! (The photo above is from when this mare was only a 2 year old.  You can imagine how filled out she is now)
($2500......until spring)

dhriskeydoc.jpg
Dam: Maxi Doc......................... Sire:A Breeze of Class

What a beauty this girl is!  I adore her markings and the way her snow white mane  is set off by her dark bay coloring.  She is just plain sharp looking.  Take a look at that pedigree.....her sire is our 14.3 grulla tobiano son of Ris Key Business and her dam is a 15.1 hand daughter of AQHA  Docs Malbec (superior reiner, sire of Doc O Mos, etc, ---- and own son of Doc Bar out of a daughter of an AQHA champion daughter of Poco Tivio)  She has outstanding potential as a team penner, reiner, etc.  She'd also improve just about anyone's broodmare band.
This girl has been saddled, mounted, and round penned.  No problems.  We'll be riding her this winter (2006).
Confirmed in foal to Ris Key Business for 2008

Strait Miss McCue
2002 black tobiano mare
Dam: Hunter McCue (by King Stormy McCue/Kingfisher McCue out of a daughter of Watch Joe Jet)
Sire: Strait From Texas (by Ris Key Business)

mccue2006.jpg

straitmccue1.jpg

The APHA world is greatly saddened by the loss of this mare's world famous sire: Strait from Texas.  The reining/cutting industry has truely lost a great champion.  This is a very nicely mannered, nicely built daughter of the all time leading performance point earning stallion, Strait From Texas.  Good muscling, pretty head and ear, straight, sound and correct.  Photos were taken winter, 2005 and winter, 2006.  Much cuter in person, and really has a sweet personality.   Started under saddle, but since she was destined to be a broodmare for the new owners, we only had put on a couple of rides. Because of that, she really doesn't know much as a riding horse, but she is very willing and easy to get along with.  May, 2006 confirmed IN FOAL to Ris Key Business for a May, 2007 baby.  May, 2007 - GORGEOUS b/w filly!!  Rebreeding her soon.

2002 chestnut mare
Sire:  Color Me Smart
Dam: Docs Lil Sprat (by Doc's Jack Sprat/Doc Bar)

lillybuttnov.jpg

lillylftnov.jpg

lillyrtnov.jpg

Finally - I have the last mare I've been wanting to add to the broodmare band......and SO much better than I had counted on finding!!
Yes, she is a daughter of Color Me Smart, BUT she's also the best looking daughter of Color Me Smart I've ever seen.  AND her bottom side is the best I've ever seen as well!  Lilly also has a FULL BROTHER that just won the APHA world championship (2007) in reining.
Lets start with Color Me Smart (in case you live under a rock and have never heard of him) ........
Color Me Smart is not only an incredible athlete himself - as proven when he won the 1997 world championship, but an incredible sire - as APHA's first 2 million
dollar sire
Sired JR Playboy by Color( $174,771), the 2003 Super Stakes Open Gelding Champion, JR Colord Prom($141,851), 2000 Super Stakes Open Champion and JR Red Diablo($156,399), the 2002 NCHA Open Super Stakes Champion. That means that Color Me Smart's offspring have won cutting's largest and most prestigious 4 year old event in 3 of the past 4 years.

Now take a look at Lilly's dam: Docs Lil Sprat.....Never mind that she's a daughter of Doc's Jack Sprat o/o daughter of Doc's Jack Frost.  Just look at what she's already produced! (In addition Lilly's W.Champ brother mentioned above)
Dam of Chics Magic Man (by Smart Chic Olena), 66 AQHA points; High point Jr Reining Champion, 3rd in the Nation in AQHA High Point Jr Reining; AQHA Superior Reining, 4th, 2001 Austrian Non-Pro Classic,  Chics Medicine Man (by Smart Chick Olena), $3365 and 17.5 AQHA points; finalist in the Congress Open Reining Futurity; Limited Non-Pro Winner at the North Coarlina Extravanganza Derby; Rookie Champion at ht eIllinios International Stock Show; AQHA ROM; Dam of the Carol Rose Ranch Jr sire OOH CISCO by Shining Spark.

The family of Doc's Jack Sprat runs deep in the record books.  He was sired by the legendary Doc Bar, who had probably the greatest influence on the cutting industry ever!  Many believe the greatest cross for Doc Bar was with the blood of Poco Tivio.  Doc's Jack Sprat was a product of this cross.  His dam, Pura Fina was by Puro Tivio.  Pura Fina was a line bred King mare.  Three Bars, King, Poco Bueno, and Texas Dandy all appear in the pedigree of Doc's Jack Sprat, and they are ALL members of the AQHA Hall Of Fame.
Doc's Jack Sprat started his show career by winning the 2 year old stallion class at the Denver Stock Show.  He later went on to become an AQHA Champion with 15 halter points, 14 western pleasure points, and 29 cutting points.  He was an NCHA Derby Semi-Finalist, and earned his NCHA Certificate of Ability.
The role of Doc's Jack Sprat as a sire is a picture of consistency.  He has finished no lower than 16th on the leading sire lists during the years 1989 to 1994.  He finished 11th on this list in 1990 through 1993.  His foals earned (NCHA money)  $214,647 in 1989,  $294,090 in 1990, $271,017 in 1991, $232,170 in 1992, $220,705 in 1993, and 252,009 in 1994.  This consistency has resulted in a yearly average of $247,444 (through 1994).  All together,  Doc's Jack Sprat's get have won over 3 million in NCHA money.

She does not ride (I do not care), she is not really even sound to ride (once again - I do not care) What I do care about (in addition to the information above) is that she is easy to catch, does have great ground manners, AND a great disposition.  Lilly will be bred to Ris Key Business in the spring.  Looking forward to a getting a LOT of foals from this good, young, quality mare!!

This is a well mannered, affectionate daughter of the legendary roper, steer stopper, and working cow horse - Strait from Texas.  This gal stands about 14.2 hands at the hip at age two, with a little growing left to do.  She is 100% straight, sound, correct, - and cute.  She's had about 6 weeks riding and is extremely athletic - NRHA potential.

Diaman H Musical Risk
2002 blue roan tobiano filly
Dam: Skips Blue Music
Sire: A Breeze of Class

bluebellfront3.jpg

blutoby06.jpg

This is one of the nicest, most unique, looking fillies we've raised. She stands a good 15.1, has an extremely massive body and baby doll head - the bonus is her striking blue roan color.  She could be the last foal out of one of our best, but oldest, mares.  She really was a pain to start riding, so we gave up on that after a couple of weeks.  She has, however, turned into a very sweet mare and is (now) great to handle.  I guess she's just about everything a person could want in a broodmare...she does need a longer neck  - but her overall 'look' is captivating.    She was confirmed in foal for 2008, bred to Ris Key Business.

Diaman H Hotshot Risk
2002 grulla filly
Dam: RSM Nightngail (by Hotshot Hancock)
Sire: A Breeze of Class

04hotshotrisk.jpg

hancocksrisk2006.jpg

This filly is quickly becoming what is commonly referred to as a 'soggy' mare.  She has massive bone w/short cannons, and a huge hip and chest.  Her dam is a 15.2 black daughter of Hotshot Hancock, sire is a grullo toby son of Ris Key Business.  Broodmare potential is unlimited.  She's registered as a dun - but  she's a grulla.  Given the fact that daddy is a grullo and momma is very black, producing a dun would be impossible.  Not all APHA employees 'have a clue' about those things.  While she's not usually one that comes looking for attention, she's not going to run from you and you can halter her in the pasture if you approach her nice and easy.  Once she's caught, you'll find she's calm and quiet and very willing to please.   This mare stands around 15 hands.  Confirmed in foal to RisKey Business May, 2008.

jawfall05.jpg

"Jaw" is one sweet, well developed filly.  She had 90 days ride (spring, 2003).   Most of the riding was in the arena (western pleasure), however, she was also taken on a half dozen trail rides and did nicely there as well.  She has an excellent disposition and willingness to learn.  Jaw has great potential as either a reiner, working cow horse, or as a wp prospect. She stands a good 15 hands.   Ris Key Business b/w filly by her side and is bred back the same way for 2008   October, 2006.  Just rode her for the past week after a few years off.  She's quiet -and lazy - and so could use a few more lessons......but still a very nice, safe,  riding horse.

This is another great young filly that was bred and born here.  Her dam is a foundation bred  blue roan mare that has consistently given us some great foals. (She's at the bottom of this page) I have no idea how this filly got to be the size she is, as she's pushing 16 hands.....at least 2 inches taller than her dam and a good hand taller than her sire.  She's a gorgeous mare with a sweet personality.  She's has several months of reining training, but has not been ridden for a few years now. Straight, sound and correct....Currently in foal to Ris Key Business

Tremendous filly.  Extremely stout, heavy boned and correct.  Beautiful head and ear.  Personality that can not be beat, and she's been blessed with her daddy's grulla coloring.   January, 2004....just put 30 days ride on her.  She's quiet, she's sensible, and she's sweet.  Not for a beginner as she does have a more dominant personality, and she will buck when she gets mad. That's ok, though, she'll be worth her weight in gold as a producer of  sons and daughters of Ris Key Business!!

Dam: Go Black Sheba Go (by Little Black Bear)
Sire: Status Continental (by Impeccable Status)

gigiright.jpg

This 'I'm your best buddy' mare stands15 hands, and is 100% sound to ride or breed.  Foaled gorgeous b/w in 2006, was not exposed for 2007 since the previous owners sold their stallion before breeding season.  Rides quiet and gentle....but still green.  12/29/06 - Hadn't been ridden for almost 2 years and we got right on and rode her.  We're still trying to figure out all her 'buttons', the previous trainer appears to have used some unique methods.....but things are progressing nicely so far. She definitely wants to please. Very nice, kind mare, great mother.  One blue eye!   2/07/07 - We've got about 30 days on this mare now and she's riding very nicely.  Walk/trot/lope, etc.  Appears to be a western pleasure prospect.  Very, very quiet.....hard to find anything that will spook this mare.  Could be a kid's horse with a little more time on her back.  Price is due to increase shortly.....
Will be bred to Ris Key in the spring - or can be purchased with 1/2 priced breeding to any of our stallions if you'd prefer.
GiGi has tested positive for being homozygous black......so only black based paint foals will be produced, regardless of the color of the sire.

spot2006.jpg

Pretty, pretty little girl.  She's no 'pocket pet' but is very easy to handle, and eager to please.  She has a gorgeous head, ear and neck, and her body is filling out very nicely.  She's 100% sound and has no bad habits.  She should be a great cross with Ris Key Business as her sire is a great reining champion and champion sire. Docs Malbec - W.Champ Reining, Working Cow Horse (by Doc Bar out of an AQHA Champ. daughter of Poco Tivio) This filly has not been started under saddle........not sure we are going to.  Even though she has tremendous potential as a reiner and/or cutter, with her looks and pedigree she's worth more to us as a broodmare than as a rider.  She should mature close to 15 hands, but has a couple of inches to go before she gets there.  Malbec offspring are notoriously slow maturers, so only time will tell how tall and how broad she will end up.  Bred to  Ris Key May, 2006. Confirmed in foal (as you can probably tell from the second photo).

June, 2007, we just took this mare (and her sorrel filly by a son of Paddys Irish Whiskey - also for sale) in on partial trade for an AQHA mare.  We were impressed with her paperwork before we saw her, but when the owners pulled her off that trailer - even after the 17 hour ride from Salt Lake City - we were just as impressed with her in person.  Nice mare.   Friendly, easy to get along with and sweet little filly by her side.  It's late enough in the season, we will not breed her for 2008.  She was ridden quite a bit before the age of 4, and so once her filly is weaned, we'll get her back under saddle and see exactly what type of rider she is best suited to.
BOTH dam and sire are NRHA champions, BOTH are APHA world champions in reining(and working cow for the dam), BOTH have their APHA superiors in reining (also working cow for the dam) BOTH have been #1 on multiple APHA honor rolls...etc., etc, etc.......
Left open in 2007 to tune up her riding.  Our current plans are to breed her to Ris Key Business in the spring of 2008, if not sold prior.  If sold prior YOU are entitled to a half priced breeding to any of our stallions!

As impossible as it might seem, this filly (Sal) might end up being even better than the dam.  Photo above shows her just before age 2, second photo shows taken March, 2006 (heavy in foal to RisKey Business)  As you can see, her conformation (especially for a 'cow horse') is incredible.  Sal is a great mare to be around.  She's sweet and friendly with no bad habits or vices. We had her ridden for 30 days shortly before age 3. Sal is definitely going to make major contributions to our breeding program.  May, 2006.........confirmed in foal to Ris Key Business

Dam: Doc Bar Jo (by Docs Drift Bar/Doc Bar)
Sire: Doc O Flicker (by Doc O Lena)

lena0844.jpg

Gorgeous mare with a sweet personality.  Quiet and well broke enough for an experience child, or novice adult, but still enough 'go' to make her a lot of fun for more experienced riders.  She's been used at many different cow events, including team penning and team sorting.  She's also had some cutting training as well as used extensively as a trail horse to include many overnight camping trips.  She's 15 hands with an outstanding pedigree.  She is sired by NCHA Futurity Finalist, Doc O Flicker. He earned $31,509 and is an own son of NCHA Futurity Champion, Doc O'Lena. Doc O Flicker's dam is Flickerbelle, an APHA Champion with ROM in Cutting and earner of 69 points in Western Pleasure. Doc O Flicker is the sire of Gaybar Drifter, earner of 161 points and APHA #1 Honor Roll Champion TWICE in Cutting.
Doc O Flicker's sire is  Doc Olena NCHA Futurity Champion AQHA Hall of Fame - by Doc Bar: AQHA Hall Of Fame (Inducted 1993), 36 Halter Points & Race Money-earner SI-95, out of Poco Lena.
Lena's dam is also a granddaughter of Doc Bar - AQHA Hall of Fame.
Lena is healthy and 100% sound.  No bad habits or vices, etc...  Currently open but has had a previous foal and proved to be an excellent mother.  She will be bred in the spring to Ris Key Business.  NOW CONFIRMED IN FOAL

Her dam is AQHA gdtr of Dry Doc and Hollywood Jac 86.  I'm pretty sure this mare can get AQHA papers.  I've been told her sire has AQHA papers (dam side is AQHA already).  I'm checking into that.  Stands a good 14.3.  Confirmed in foal to Ris Key Business for 2008

    DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS

This is one awesome looking mare.  I love her pretty head, huge hip and chest, solid bones and incredible markings!!  Okay, the fact that her pedigree is impressive doesn't hurt her as a future broodmare either.  This Little Streke is a maternal SISTER to QT Poco Streke!
    Sires side is even better!
BAR B PAINT (APHA BLK T) Sire of Champion and Reserve Champion NRHA LO  Reining offspring,  APHA ROM Reining offspring. Sire of Grand and Reserve Champion Halter offspring. Sire of  Dressage, HUS, WP, Trail Offspring. Grandsire of Maria Mist 2003 NRHA Limited Non Pro World Champion and Alito Strom

Cheyenne has been tested (UC Davis) to be double homozygous, stands a good 15.1 and is so nice to be around.  Not sure what else you could want in a broodmare?  The fact that she rides is just an added bonus.  She'll not be working that hard here since she's definitely being added to 'broodmare only' status for as long as she'll continue producing foals.  Not currently in foal, but did have a gorgeous b/w filly in 2006 and has proved to be an excellent mother.  Will be bred to Ris Key Business for a May, 2008 foal.
