Leddy is a big (15.3 hand) loveable girl with an outstanding pedigree.
This mare suffered a career ending injury in the fall of 2022 right before we brought her back home from the east coast (sold
her as a yearling). She severed her extensor tendon. While she gets along just fine in the pasture, she will never be 100%
sound. Our plans are to use her as a broodmare.

This is a marvelous mare. She is one of Ris Key's best looking babies. There is nothing about her that I would change, other
than the fact she is a SPB. We've done all the testing on her, and she is negative for 5 panel, as well as splash, lethal,
and tobiano genes.
She was broke to ride as a late 2 year old, then used as broodmare starting at age 4. She was given a year off again in 2013/2014
and was ridden extensively on trails.
Belle will not be bred back in 2020, she will be given another break from being a broodmare.
Spring, 2021....so Belle just tried to cut her leg off. She got hung up on a 'horse safe' pipe fence - kicking at a gelding,
I'm sure, since she was in heat. We'd have been better off keeping her in foal....
10 weeks later, a lot of leg wraps and then a few weeks of Underwood's spray and it looks like Belle will at least be broodmare
sound. UGH> Horses!

Easy to start under saddle. 30 days ride in November, 2008, bred in 2009 and used as a broodmare for a few years. Zipp is

We sent Zipp to a friend/trainer and now this mare is my favorite riding horse. Took her on a few trails over the summer
of 2014 and Zipp never took a wrong step. She is bold, and quiet. Needs a very light hand, but otherwise should ride for about
anyone.

rides down the road last summer(2005). She is very, very quiet. She has incredible potential as a rope horse, team penner,
etc. She can easily be registered in the buckskin/dun registries. Ready to continue with training, or will be moved into the
broodmare band in the spring.
